Carlsbad Community Foundation Scholarship Application
Terms and Conditions

By completing and submitting this scholarship application, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

I am a South Eddy County (Carlsbad, Otis, Loving, Malaga, Queen and surrounding areas) resident in New Mexico

I give permission to the Carlsbad Community Foundation to request additional information from my school(s) to verify information and to share this application and attachments with others for the purpose of evaluating this application and that records shall be retained according to applicable laws and regulations

I am not an immediate family member or direct descendant of any member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors or staff

I have reviewed the list of available scholarships and understand there are minimum requirements to apply

I understand that applying for scholarships for which I do not meet the listed minimum requirements may disqualify my application from consideration for all scholarships from the Foundation.  Any minimum requirement listed for a scholarship must be addressed in either a provided field or in the essay portion of the application.  [NOTE:  To the extent possible, all scholarships for which you wish to apply should be applied for in one session.  You cannot save your application and resume work on it at a later time.  If needed, you may apply for additional scholarships in a later session, however, do not apply for the same scholarship more than one time.]

I affirm that all information provided is the truth to the best of my ability and that misrepresentation of any kind is reason for disqualification

I understand that the Foundation is under no obligation to award any scholarship for any reason

Scholarships are awarded at the sole discretion of the Foundation and all decisions are final

I agree that if I am a recipient, failure to demonstrate initial or continued eligibility for a scholarship by the deadlines provided terminates the scholarship award and I forfeit any claim for scholarship funds
