The Carlsbad Community Foundation is pleased to invite South Eddy County organizations that promote the well-being of animals, domestic and wild, to apply for a grant from the Benjamin P. Duke Memorial Endowment Fund.
Eligibility – 501(c)(3) and other charitable organizations that are located in or serve South Eddy County in New Mexico, which includes Carlsbad, Loving, Otis, Malaga, and Queen.
Purpose – Funds to be awarded must promote the well-being of animals, domestic or wild. No other purposes will be considered.
Grant amounts – The Foundation anticipates awarding up to a total of approximately $30,000 in grants through this program. The number of grant awards and amounts awarded may vary depending on the number of applications and needs. All requests should be thoroughly justified in the grant application for consideration.
Schedule – The online grant application will be available below on this page beginning April 1, 2025. The deadline to complete the online grant application is April 30, 2025. Late applications will not be considered. Successful applicants will be notified by June 30, 2025 and fund distribution is anticipated to start in July 2025.
