Foundation awards grant in support
of school safety
The Carlsbad Community Foundation has awarded a grant to the Carlsbad Community Anti-Drug/Gang Coalition in support of school safety. For the first time ever, Community Resource Officers at Carlsbad High School have the opportunity to obtain training in June that is specific to school environments. The information learned will be shared with faculty and staff not only at the high school, but throughout the school district. The Foundation grant was awarded from the Jack Knittel Memorial Safety & Educational Fund. We are proud to support the safety of our students, faculty and staff in our schools.
