Community Giving Week was a great success!
The Carlsbad Community Foundation sincerely thanks everyone for joining in our annual celebration of philanthropy! The spirit of generosity is clear when we take a full 360 degree look at all the local nonprofit organizations that share our vision of helping improve the lives of people in our community!
In addition to highlighting the work of local nonprofits, we are pleased to have offered our annual endowment matching opportunity and along with our co-sponsor, SEI Investments, hosted the annual community reception.
Of course, a highlight of the week was the presentation of the Legacy Award to the CHS Class of ’62! We are very proud to recognize the efforts of many individuals who have come together to achieve a lasting legacy for their Class. During the award presentation, the class members were surprised with the introduction of three previous Class of ’62 Scholarship recipients, giving them a first-hand look at home their efforts have impacted local students!
