Since 1978, the Carlsbad Community Foundation has sought to improve the lives of people in Carlsbad and South Eddy County. The generosity of many has led to a wide-range of permanent funds that provide near- and long-term funding options for non-profit organizations, scholarships and other community-based issues or projects.
Consideration of the Foundation in your giving plans is greatly appreciated. Donations are tax deductible and the benefits will be realized right here where we live, work and play!
Ways to Give
Gifts to the Foundation can be made in many forms. The Foundation may accept monetary donations, securities, personal property or even real estate. Some choose to include giving to the Foundation as part of their will, trust or life insurance policy.
Memorials and Honors
Donors have the option of making an general donation to the Foundation or making a donation to a specific fund. In addition, gifts may be made in memory of someone who has passed away or in honor of someone for an achievement, birthday or any other reason.
Creating a New Fund
New funds may also be created by consulting with the Foundation’s executive director. Once a fund reaches $10,000, interest generated will become available for Foundation use to benefit the approved purpose of the fund.
